Ingredients:
- 50ml Vodka
- 30ml Coffee Liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
- 30ml Freshly Brewed Espresso (Or do what I do and subsitute for cold brew)
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- Ice
- Coffee Beans (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Brew a shot of espresso and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the vodka, coffee liqueur, freshly brewed espresso, and simple syrup to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until well-chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with a few coffee beans for an added touch of elegance.
- Serve and enjoy!
Tips for Perfection:
- Use freshly brewed espresso for the best flavour. Avoid using instant coffee, as it may result in a weaker taste.
- Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less simple syrup.
- To achieve the perfect froth, shake the cocktail vigorously with plenty of ice. This will create a luscious foam that enhances the drink's texture.
- Serve the Espresso Martini in a chilled martini glass for an extra touch of sophistication.
