Espresso Martini

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Vodka
  • 30ml Coffee Liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
  • 30ml Freshly Brewed Espresso (Or do what I do and subsitute for cold brew) 
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
  • Ice
  • Coffee Beans (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Brew a shot of espresso and allow it to cool to room temperature.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Add the vodka, coffee liqueur, freshly brewed espresso, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  4. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until well-chilled.
  5. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
  6. Garnish with a few coffee beans for an added touch of elegance.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Tips for Perfection:

  • Use freshly brewed espresso for the best flavour. Avoid using instant coffee, as it may result in a weaker taste.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less simple syrup.
  • To achieve the perfect froth, shake the cocktail vigorously with plenty of ice. This will create a luscious foam that enhances the drink's texture.
  • Serve the Espresso Martini in a chilled martini glass for an extra touch of sophistication.
