Smoked Maple Sour

A rich, warming cocktail with a hint of smoke and sweetness.

Ingredients (1 serve):

  • 60ml bourbon
  • 25ml fresh lemon juice
  • 20ml maple syrup
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • Optional: a drop of liquid smoke or smoked glass
  • Ice
  • Garnish: charred orange wheel or cherry

Method:

  1. Add bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup, and bitters into a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake well until chilled.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube.
  4. (Optional) Smoke the glass for a dramatic effect.
  5. Garnish with a charred orange wheel or cherry.
