Spring is here, and the classic Negroni is getting a seasonal glow-up. Think of this as the Negroni that’s taken off its winter coat, put on a linen shirt, and decided it deserves a little happiness.

The trick? Swap sweet vermouth for bianco vermouth. It keeps the bitterness we love but adds a bright, floral lift that tastes like longer days and warmer afternoons.

 

Springtime Negroni Recipe

 

Ingredients

  • 30ml gin
  • 30ml Campari
  • 30ml bianco vermouth
  • Grapefruit twist (or orange)
  • Optional: basil leaf

Method

Stir all ingredients with ice until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over a big cube. Garnish with a grapefruit twist (and basil if you’re feeling fancy).

Crisp, citrusy, slightly floral—this is the Negroni that drinks like sunshine but still has attitude.
